- As the first engineering hire, I worked directly with the CTO to scale and improve an existing Ruby on Rails API and React & Redux UI by designing and implementing an event driven architecture resulting in 90% reduction of manual intervention and interactive conversational experiences.
- Built a scheduling and reminder system that increased user response by 60%. Achieved this by writing an algorithm that joined queries and returned the optimal time for user engagement.
- Developed a text and audio auto-grading system that reduced the need of human intervention by 90% using Brain JS, PostgreSQL, AWS Polly.
- Built a notification system that reduced customer support efforts and improved the response time to users from 1 hour to 5 minutes using the Slack API.
- Created a reporting system that generated custom strategic reports for clients that included personalized data about employee progress that were delivered over SMS, WhatsApp and Email using Twilio API and Sendgrid API.
